So I have not written a cookbook myself… yet!
However, there are many books that I refer to on a regular basis. These are books that not only helped me in the past, but continue to help and inspire my cooking daily.
Just because I know how to cook and create new recipes, does not mean I do not have many things to learn or take inspiration from.

A Cast Iron Journey
I know its not a cookbook or low sodium. However, one thing I talk about often is the maillard reaction. The chemical reaction between amino acids and reducing sugars that gives browned food its distinctive flavor without adding salt. One great way to get that is cast iron. It is simply fantastic once you learn to use it.
A good friend of mine, James P. Anderson, wrote a little book about it called A Cast Iron Journey His book will help you on your path to owning and caring for cast iron.
500 Low Sodium Recipes

The Easy Low Sodium Diet Plan
Before his passing, Christopher Lower was an active member in the low sodium community, the owner of the Facebook Hacking Salt, and the author of The Easy Low-Sodium Diet Plan. Both his book and the group are great resources.

Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book
Not a low sodium book per say, but a GREAT ONE! The Better Homes and Garden Cook Book has so much information in addition to recipes. Plus, I have found that many of the recipes are very easy to modify to low sodium. This is one I have had for many many years.
