- 2 ⅓ Cup King Arthur Unbleached All Purpose Flour
- 4 Tbsp Sugar
- ¼ tsp Himalayan Pink Salt optional
- 1 Head Garlic, Roasted
- 1 Egg
- ¼ Cup Whole Milk
- ½ Tbsp Active Dry Yeast
- 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
Sift flour into mixing bowl of stand mixer
Add sugar, mashed roasted garlic, and yeast to flour
Lightly beat egg and milk, then pour into mixing bowl with other ingredients
Turn mixer speed on low speed 1 for about 2 minutes to incorporate ingredients
Turn mixer speed up 1 notch to speed 2 and let dough knead for 20 minutes
Shape dough into a ball, place in bowl covered with plastic wrap in warm spot to rise for 60 minutes
Remove dough from bowl and shape into the loaf, rolls, or whatever shape you are looking for
Place dough in desired pan lightly sprayed with cooking spray
Cover and let rise another 60 minutes
Bake until internal temp is 200F ... about 35 minutes for 1 loaf or 17 minutes for 2 small loaves
